Abdul holds a PhD in the domain of healthcare and information systems from USQ and masters degrees in MIS and MBA from Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. Since joining USQ in Jan 2004, he has published several refereed publications and has numerous research grants in the domains of health and education regarding technology management. Abdul is very conversant with wireless technology as well as emerging technologies and learning management systems. He teaches information systems concepts to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, including MBA students. He has also supervised numerous postgraduate research students. Abdul also has numerous publications in academic and scholarly journals and has a vast array of scholarly conference papers, all of which have been focused on the domain of information systems.

Yu is Professor at The University of Hong Kong. With the research expertise in gerontology and geriatric care, Professor Yu obtained over USD$ 21.7 million research grants to support the studies on prevalent elderly issues including geriatric symptom management, disease management models for debilitating diseases, brain health promotion, strength-based and family-oriented models on dementia care and caregiving. She is currently the Associate Editor and editorial board members of several journals in nursing, gerontology and geriatric cardiology. Professor Yu actively engages in knowledge translation, and successfully secured about USD$ 11 million of donations to implement evidence-based programs to prepare the society for population aging, enhance territory-wide brain health promotion and develop social capital to increase the wellness of socially deprived older adults. Professor Yu is member of several expert advisory panels of the HKSAR Government to support priority-setting for research funding and aged care policy. She also acts as consultant to support aged service development in the flagship NGOs in Hong Kong.

Dr Nathalie Tremblay, Ph.D., M.B.A. is a special adviser for precision medicine governance and education platform dedicated to accelerating the application of the most advanced knowledge in clinical practice to improve diagnostics and therapeutic outcomes. She is also, adviser for ethics and governance of artificial intelligence in the application of the multi-omics disease signature. She works with organisations using AI in precision medicine enhancing the innovation cycle – in prevention, treatment monitoring, prevention of resistance emergence and adverse effects, and accelerates drug discovery. 

Graduates from Strasbourg University, in sciences of management- specialised in economy and management of innovation in health. She has been actively involved in regional, national, and international level in promoting multidisciplinary scientific collaboration and the inclusion of the patient in health research and practice. She was president and Chief Executive officer of the Breast Cancer Foundation for years gaining a refine knowledge on oncology challenges. She is the author of many scientific articles on open lab as multidisciplinary collaboration to help foster the dynamic of innovation and the role intermediary organisation plays in digitalization of health. 

She holds many governance positions – Board Member and Chair of the audit committee for the Fonds de Recherche du Québec – Santé. The board is chaired by the Chief Scientific of Québec, Canada, and dedicated to advise the Government of Québec on research and scientific development issues and strategies. The FRQS manage scientific research investment in health, promote excellence in research, and train the next generation of researchers. Over the years, Dr Tremblay was invited as a keynote speaker on how to manage complex systems such as digital transformation in healthcare, multidisciplinary collaborations, and many others

Ada Fenick,

Dr. Fenick was in private practice for 6 years. Her practical experience is augmented by national and local work in education and educational scholarship. Dr. Fenick has been the co-editor of the Yale Primary Care Pediatrics Curriculum since its inception, and is now the associate director for Pediatrics in the primary care component of the Biopsychosocial Approach to Health, a third-year medical student core clerkship. She is also honored to serve as Medical Director for YNHH’s School Based Health Centers, and as Medical Director for the Medical-Legal Partnership Project at YNHCH. Her research and advocacy centers on pediatric primary care in the service of growing children to be healthy, happy, and productive adults.
