Felismina Moreira

Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, Portugal

Felismina is a proven expert in the field of biosensors. She specializes in the development of electrical biosensors that use novel materials, particularly synthetic materials, to detect a variety of target analytes.Felismina earned her PhD in sustainable chemistry from the Faculty of Science and Technology at the College of New Lisbon, demonstrating her commitment to advancing sustainable solutions in her field.

Romain Clement

Bioaster, France

Romain Clement, PhD is a researcher with experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, and immunoassay. Romain has worked in various research positions at institutions such as BIOASTER, VETOPHAGE, and CNRS, focusing on areas like enzyme studies, biopiles, and CO2 concentration mechanisms in micro-algae. With a background in plant biology, biochemistry, and biotechnology, Romain also has experience as a line operator in the production industry. Romain holds a Doctorate in Plant Biology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology from Aix-Marseille University, along with other degrees in microbiology, plant biology, and biotechnologies.

Y. Xu

Chongqing University, China

Instrumental science and technology Engaged in teaching and scientific research in the fields of micro-nano biochemical

Tanmay Majumdar

National Institute of Immunology, India.

My research interest has been emergent to develop translational disease intervention strategies against important human chronic diseases by cultivating the balance between tolerance versus immunity, abrogating inflammation, mediated by the gut microbiome. The project is based on the disruption of synchrony between the gut microbiome and metabolic rhythms by pathogenic infection.

Li Chen

Chongqing University, China

Li. Chen is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Optoelectronic Engineering, Chongqing University. Major research efforts include MEMS sensors and actuators such as pressure sensors, SERS-based sensors, micropumps and self-powered sensors

Sumin Bian

Westlake University, China

Sumin Bian (Hangzhou, China) is a research associate professor at School of Engineering, Westlake University (Hangzhou, China). Sumin obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from KU Leuven, Belgium. Currently, Sumin has multidisciplinary research interests in pharmaceutical science, biosensors, and organoids-on-chips for personalized medicine. To date, she has authored around 30 articles with 17 as the (co-)first/(co)corresponding authorship in peer-reviewed journals (including Biosensors & Bioelectronics, J. Pharm. Anal. (Cover Paper; Best Paper Award), Anal. Chim. Acta and Front. Bioeng. Biotechnol.) and as a strong collaborator contributed to many works published in ACS Nano, Clin Gastroenterol Hepatol, J Crohns Colitis and Aliment Pharmacol Ther. She additionally holds three national innovation and three PCTs as the first applicant. She was awarded multiple Chinese National Scholarships in recognition of her passionate pursuit of science during her educational endeavours and research scholarships from both China Scholarship Council and KU Leuven for her doctoral study. She was granted the Travel Award by United European Gastroenterology Week, the Best Poster Award in Westlake International Symposium in Engineering, the National Silver Award in the first China Postdoctoral Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition and Best Staff Award. She serves as a Youth Editor of The Innovation- Cell Press, a Review Editor of the Frontiers in Analytical Science Journal, a reviewer for several other international journals, and an oral/invited speaker in ten national/international conferences. She has been a core member in multiple research grants at university and provincial levels. In 2022, she was awarded a Youth Science Fund grant from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Sainudeen Pattazhy

International University in Singapore, Singapore

Sainudeen Pattazhy, famous Indian Environmentalist, former  Associate professor in Zoology at Kerala University  and currently working as Professor at an International University in Singapore. He embodies several personalities- environmental scientist, science manager, educator, author, and communicator– all rolled into one. There are few Indian scientists who have done so much in so many different fields, and have done it with such fervor. Due to the efforts, NASA named a minor planet after his name called 5178 Pattazhy planet in 2008. He is the first Keralite, who got planet name and became a part of the world history.  He authored  many research papers and International books. He has received many Awards . He got 9 patents .
